JON SPENCER BLUES EXPLOSION - CAROLINE [TEST PRESSING] (7", US)
DATE: LABEL: In The Red Records CAT NO.: [unknown]
A. Caroline
B. Curfew Blues
NOTES:
This record probably does NOT exist.

This sleeve notes to the Jukebox Explosion Rockin' Mid-90s Punkers album (see track notes below) mention this release. The supposed B-side was previously released on the 10" VPRO bootleg which is the reason it is probably a joke.

The B-side was recorded in September 1994 whereas the story that goes with this record states that it was due to be released as Jukebox Single number three which was actually Train #3 and released in 1993 which leads to the conclusion that something recorded in 1994 probably wasn't pressed into vinyl, even if it did only get as far as the test pressing stage, in 1993.

SONG CREDITS/TRACK NOTES:
[the following notes are taken from Jukebox Explosion Rockin' Mid-90s Punkers]
A. Caroline
Independent record label CAROLINE was the accurately rendered subject of what was originally intended to be the A-Side of Jukebox single number three. The single made it as far as the test pressing stage (only four exist) before the humourless pussies at CAROLINE threw a hissy fit and began to threaten the band and label with legal action. Now this sneering stomper can finally be given a proper release.

B. Curfew Blues
This super-crazed number was the B-Side to the aborted "Caroline" single. Recorded at a VPRO session during a tour of Europe. On the trip, under the impression that is was a particularly rarefied variety of European cheese, Judah happened to eat an entire bar of soap that belonged to the Devil Dogs.
