Black vinyl with clear plastic anti-static inner-sleeve.
Incomplete bootleg of the Pussy Galore cover
of Exile on Main St. by The Rolling Stones. This is one of the better
bootleg issues of this album. Rear sleeve has used artwork direct from the cassette
sleeve and is a fairly faithful reproduction of the original
Exile On Main St. (CASSETTE, US).
This also duplicates the original label and catalogue number information. |

The album was recorded 24-26.AUGUST.1986
and generally it is credited as being released in 1986. The "White Label" bootleg version (with different run-out groove engraving)
was probably available around 1992 (there is also an
earlier "Yellow Label" pressing), this version wouldn't have been made
until much later (poss. 2000s) as there seems
to be too many of this cropping-up on
ebay and other online retailers which all "as new".
Happy and Just Wanna See His Face were also issued on the bootleg Stoned To Death [BOOTLEG] (7", US).
Turd on the Run, Ventilator Blues, Just Wanna
See His Face and Let It Loose were
also issued on the
Corpse Love compilation.
Rocks Off, Rip This Joint, Hip Shake,
Sweet Virginia and Happy were all issued on
the Exile On Main
St. (10", US) which also featured Black
Angel,
Loving Cup and Stop Breaking Down
which are not on this LP.
Hip Shake was also recorded by Gibson
Bros. for The Man Who Loved Couch Dancing,
although that album featured Jon Spencer and Cristina Martinez they did not appear
on that particular song.
