In 2007 In The Red Records released all tracks from this series on the Jukebox Explosion Rockin' Mid-90's Punkers compilation. The original version of Son of Sam is by Chain Gang and their recording was released as a 7" single and  appears on the album Perfumed and What's Up Matador? compilation.       It is believed that both tracks from this 7" stem from the Extra Width sessions. In an interview Jon Spencer mentioned a session with Kurt Hoffman where they recorded Son of Sam, Bent, Fat (released on Jukebox Explosion...) and possibly Out of Luck (from Mo' Width) and Relax-Her (Afro B-Side). In April 2000 the Record Collector magazine published a feature on the Jon Spencer Blues Exploson and Pussy Galore which gave the release date of this as January 1992 but this would seem to be too early in the year.
