1968 release of Skip James recordings from 1931 and 1964 including Special Rider Blues which was covered by the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion for the Soul of a Man (RELEASE / LYRICS) soundtrack album (the track didn’t appear in the documentary).

Special Rider Blues was originally released as 78 rpm single (Paramount 13098) in 1931 as the b-side to I’m So Glad.
