NOTES:
Later repress of The Muffs debut album features Jon Spencer playing Theremin on I Need You. A very short unlisted track plays shortly after the close of track 16. The sleeve spells Jon Spencer with a ‘H’ in both occurrences of the name. Jon Spencer recorded theremin parts for three different songs but only appeared on I Need You on the album. The image below shows Jon Spencer recording on the song Every Single Thing. This is a screen grab from a video posted by Melanie Vammen on Facebook on 20 August 2020. A different recording of I Need You (not featuring Jon Spencer) was also issued as a 7″ single by Sub Pop in July 1992.
