“A blast from The Stool Pigeon past. I had to shoot Jon Spencer when he was playing with the Blues Explosion at Spitz (above Spitalfields Market) in 2006. He was getting himself ready in front of the mirror and I was clicking away on my old Bronica medium format camera. After a minute of him preening I asked “Can I just get a clean shot of you in front of this wall Jon?”, he stood up, looked at me quizzically and said “You just did kid…” and then he was gone.” – Michael Gibbons
