Pilot on Mars album recorded at NY Hed with, and featuring, Matt Verta-Ray and Jon Spencer. Issued on black vinyl with download card insert, the song Scatter These Ashes is unlisted on the both the artwork and label but appears on the album as track B5. nb. The album was available in a digital format before the physical album was released. The album announcement was mentioned in a video on vimeo in September 2015 and in December 2015 the NY Hed facebook page posted photos from the studio. At one stage the album title was announced as ‘In Vain’ and although the release date is listed in some places as 11 November 2016 it was available via some digital services on 10 November 2016 and the vinyl edition was issued sometime between 15 December 2016 and early January 2017.
