Promotional-only Damage album sampler. On this edition of the sampler the title is written as Damage! and includes six tracks rather than the five on the later five track version which was issued with artwork. This promo CD was issued with a ‘Duplicated Date’ like the Mars, Arizona – DFA Radio Edit promo. Damage was released in the UK as a gatefold sleeve vinyl album with identical matchbook-style design as the UK CD/DVD edition and US enhanced CD version. There were full promo CD editions, a five track version, a five track Radio Session (with a cover of Rocket USA) and 1 track version (Help These Blues). The Japanese version included Grinding and The Funky Gremlin as bonus tracks not released elsewhere. Burn It Off, Crunchy and Hot Gossip were commercially released as singles, a DFA remix of Mars, Arizona was issued as a promo CD and appeared on DFA Remixes: Chapter One.
