Limited to 3000 or 4000 copies (the figure given differs between sources). Although the sleeve artwork includes the Mom + Pop logo the only printed catalogue numbers are BR47LP and SHOV20. The export editions of this album have an alternate barcode stickered over the Bronze Rat one on the rear sleeve. nb. the song titles given above are as they appear on the labels/sleeve of this release and not as they’re written on Freedom Tower: No Wave Dance Party 2015. This album was first mentioned during the The Todd-o-Phonic Todd on WFMU (12 December 2015) when Jon Spencer played a recording of What Love Is and stated that it was from a live album due to be released on Record Store Day 2016. What Love Is is a cover of Rocket From The Tombs / Dead Boys [RELEASE / LYRICS]. The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion previously gave away a live record of this track as a download titled Live In France 2013. She’s On It – Jack The Ripper is a cover of the songs cover of She’s On It (Beastie Boys) and Jack The Ripper (Link Wray). |
