| NOTES: | |
| Very early promotional copy issued in PVC sleeve with printed insert.
The copies of this version of the album are “unique and traceable” with the sleeve and disc of each one being numbered (this is number 297) and released with a security seal. The titles on this version differ slightly from the final album. ‘Damage!’ is written with an exclamation mark, Mars, Arizona as Mars A-Z , You Been My Baby as Been My Baby and both Rattling and Blowing My Mind are written with an apostrophe instead of a ‘g’. Damage was released in the UK as a gatefold sleeve vinyl album with identical matchbook-style design as the UK CD/DVD edition and US enhanced CD version. There were full promo CD editions, a five track version, a five track Radio Session (with a cover of Rocket USA) and 1 track version (Help These Blues). The Japanese version included Grinding and The Funky Gremlin as bonus tracks not released elsewhere. Burn It Off, Crunchy and Hot Gossip were commercially released as singles, a DFA remix of Mars, Arizona was issued as a promo CD and appeared on DFA Remixes: Chapter One. A live version of Rattling featuring Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols was released on Snack Cracker in Japan. Help These Blues was used in a Jaguar XK TV commercial. |
