WFMU continues its post-Hurricane Sandy recovery with a daytime Record Fair from 11am-5pm (with entry being stemmed off at 3pm), then an evening blowout show (doors at 7pm, showtime 7:30 sharp!)

Solo performance of multiphonic vox and unique instrumentation from
Old Time Relijun’s frontman, zigzagging the lines of absurdist
improvisation and honed hoodoo.

Rare performance from Dot of legendary primitivist sister act The
Shaggs, performing classic and unheard tunes from her canon joined by erstwhile band that includes Jesse Krakow and Laura Cromwell.

Jon, Judah, and Russell kicking off a US tour tonight in support of
their Meat and Bone LP. The blues is #1!

Dallas, Texas psyche/socko-delic gospel powerhouses released
recordings to little awareness in 1970 later reissued in 2009 when the
rebooted and knocked out crowds at Ponderosa and Austin City Limits.
New album due in February on the Yep Roc label.

Your MC for the evening! He is the host of “The Chris Gethard Show”, a public-access talkshow based out of New York City, and the author of “A Bad Idea I’m About to Do: True Tales of Seriously Poor Judgment and Stunningly Awkward Adventure.”

The great soul-sonic force behind the highly touted New York Night Train spins between sets.
