I’d never played to more than about twenty people at that point so it was all pretty nerve wracking but also damn exciting. We’d played The Garage in London, then The Venue in Edinburgh where Jon Spencer blew his amp, then borrowed ours, then blew that, then in Leeds we had to use Jon Spencer’s amp and blew that.
