SLEEVE NOTES:
“”Hey! Dexter! D’you wanna put together volume three of the ‘Hometaping’ series?” said those rock-happy people at Kerrang! magazine. Since we’re right in the middle of making a new record I have to say that, nope, it wasn’t top of my list of things to do.

Then, the more I thought about it, the more I liked the idea, The noition of sticking together a set of trakcs by artists that I liked on one CD not having to pay for the whole damn lot seemed too good to turn own. And so, here it is. A collection that to some may seem insane and to others will make perfect sense.

Some of these artists are like old friends, like Rancid, The Vandals, NOFX and AFI. Others are heroes, like Black Sabbath, NWA, Minor Threat and Black Flag. All the artists featured here are crucial as far as I’m concerned. I hope you dig ’em as much as I enjoyed putting this whole set together.

See you when we hit the UK later this year when I’m sure you’ll all find the time to comment on bands that I shouldn’t have included or that I’ve ommited.

Your friend,
Dexter Holland – The Offspring”
