Meat and Bone was released in the UK by Bronze Rat / Shove on CD and vinyl, in the US by Mom and Pop on CD and vinyl and in Japan by Sony on CD with bonus tracks . A CD / Meat and Bone pre-order package was available from TheJonSpencerBluesExplosion.com which included the album on CD and vinyl along with The Blues Exploder, Apron and Poster by Malleus. Says Jon Spencer: “We still have that psychic glue that allows us to create music together.
