This 17 track CDR of mixes recorded in August and October 2001 would have been circulated before any of the Plastic Fang promos. Issued in a jewel case with printed paper insert and stickered CDR.
During a 2002 interview with German magazine Intro Jon Spencer states that Elliott Smith sings on the song Dock (which appears on this CD twice). Dock was released as Tore Up & Broke from the Australian 2xCD and UK / US vinyl editions of the album.
There is an early Mute promo of Plastic Fang which features the alternate titles listed here and when compared to the commercial release would lead us to assume that Whale was retitled Down In The Beast and Rok Steady became The Midnight Creep.
Sweet N Sour, She Said and Shakin’ Rock ‘N’ Roll Tonight were all released as singles.
There are many different editions of this album with alternate track listings and running orders.
