Original US release on Caroline with die-cut white paper inner-sleeve, this particular copy is from a New York college radio station (89.1 the Point) and has a gold promo stamp on the rear sleeve and the letters ‘WBSU’ written in pen on the front and rear sleeve. exact release date unknown. Magnet Magazine gives it as Monday September 28, 1987 and Albumoftheyear.org lists it as Tuesday September 1, 1987. Like the cassette issue the sleeve also features the catalogue number ‘SHOV 7’ which would suggest that there was a time when this was going to be released by Shove rather than Caroline. Cassette edition included live bonus tracks and the Product Inc. CD version contained everything from Pussy Gold 5000 and the song Cunt Tease. The album was re-issued by Mute and Matador records in 1998 on CD and heavy vinyl (with poster). The title is written as “Pussy Galore, Right Now!” which would appear to be a reference to the third American Rolling Stones album (1965) which was titled “The Rolling Stones, Now!*“. Caroline also issued a promotional poster for this album.
