Judah Bauer plays guitar and harmonica on Do The Blackout. Jon Spencer plays acoustic guitar on The Diddler and Wanna Scratch It? (which was also released on the In The Red records sampler Static Disaster in the UK) . The Japanese edtion of this album features three additional bonus tracks one of which (The Harmonica is in “F”) was co-written by Jon Spencer. The Blackout was issued on vinyl, CD, promo CD and on CD with bonus tracks in Japan. Speedball Baby guitarist Matt Verta-Ray would go on to form Heavy Trash with Jon Spencer and work on records by numerous other artists including Five Dollar Priest, Lost Crusaders, Rob K, Micragirls, The King Brothers, Edision Rocket Train, Puffy AmiYumi and many more. Jon Spencer has a writing credit on The Harmonica is in “F” and plays acoustic guitar on The Diddler and Wanna Scratch It?. Judah Bauer plays guitar and harmonica on Do The Blackout. Writing credit for track 18 incorrectly lists the name ‘Ron Word’ rather than ‘Ron Ward’. Artwork lettering lists ‘In The Red Records’ name as both ‘In The Red Recording’ and ‘In The Red Recordings’.The Japanese edtion of this album features three additional bonus tracks one of which (The Harmonica is in “F”) was co-written by Jon Spencer. |
